Yes, you can do a Master's in Space Science after doing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Most of the universities consider candidates from engineering backgrounds for their space Science programs, provided you have a sound interest in the field. Be sure to check prerequisites for any of the university names you are interested in because some may require specific courses already completed or relevant experience before you can apply. Overall, your ECE background will help you in this area!

Yes, good placement for M.Tech at IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology). In 2023, the highest package offered was INR 28 LPA for M.Tech in Machine Learning and Computing. Many of our courses achieved over 50% in terms of placements. Others had 100% placement rates. That's why the institute has good links with entities such as ISRO which directly hires students and opens up great career prospects for students in the realm of space sciences.

Attaining the B.S-M.S programme of IISER will turn out to be quite effective for carrying an astronomy-related career, primarily provided followed by doing a PhD in a similar programs. As you are a 11 th class commerce student, Yes you can become an astronaut or study astronomy. It's not very late as you are in 11th only. So to get into the field of astronomy, you are adviced to change your subject in 12th only so that you do not face any problem in pursuing Bachelor's in astronomy. After that you can complete Masters in feilds like MSc Astronomy etc. So yes, you still have chances of becoming an astronaut.
