- Master of Science in Biomedical Research spans two academic years. In the first semester, students will follow a number of compulsory courses (e.g. academic English for life sciences, laboratory animal sciences and biostatistics, bioethics)
- In the second semester, it’s time to start writing a review paper on the research topic of the third internship and students will complete two short laboratory internships
- A biomedical scientist students will try to trace back the cause of diseases, generating possibilities for prevention and the development of new diagnostic methods and treatments that not only reduce the symptoms but really cure the patient

- The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences is open to holders of a bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences
- Other equivalent academic bachelors are allowed (including Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology and Life Sciences), but qualification will be evaluated based on both scientific competences and practical laboratory skills of the students by the admission committee. At least sufficient levels of education in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology and Biostatistics are required
- A sufficient level of education (≥ 5 ECTS) in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, microbiology or immunology is essential. Genetics, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and biostatistics are also required. In certain cases, deficiencies can remediated by taking preparatory courses
