The duration of BME courses generally depends on the course level. The courses in Biomedical Engineering are available at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels. The Diploma courses are usually 3 years long; which students can even pursue after completing Class 10. There is no such strict age limit for opting for courses in Biomedical Engineering at popular academic institutions in India. But, looking at the previous admission processes for BME courses, students are usually between 18 years and 24 years at the time of admission.Rest, some universities may have certain age requirements for admission, it is very less likely to happen though. If you are a bright student with a good academic record and have successfully cleared the entrance exam or other assessment rounds, you can apply for Biomedical Engineering courses.
