Hi!Yes, you can pursue BSW if you have completed your class 12th with the Science stream, you are eligible for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) programme. Students who have completed their 12th from a recognised board with atleast 45% aggregate marks, can pursue BSW courses. Students are admitted to colleges on merit basis and on the basis of their score in entrance exams.

Hello!BSW or Bachelor of Social Work courses are available in both government and private institues. The average fees for pursuing a BSW course from a private college is more expensive than a BSW degree from government institutes. Hello!If you want to pursue a BSW course from IGNOU, first you will have to fill out the online application form on the official website of IGNOU. You will be required to submit your identity proof documents, along with the application fees. Students are generally not required to take any entrance exams for the BSW course and are selected on the basis of merit i.e. their class 12th scores. On selection by the IGNOU office, students will receive an email and they simply have to pay the required fee amount to confirm their admission.
