The University of Alberta acceptance rate is around 52% for UG admission and 60% for PG admission. University of Alberta UG entry requirements:

• Complete a high school degree from a recognised college or institute
• Submit an additional test score for the ACT/ SAT exam
• Meet U of A English language requirements

University of Alberta PG entry requirements:

• Must complete a four-year bachelor’s degree, or its academic equivalent, from an academic institution recognised by the U of A.
• Must have an admission GPA of 3 on most 4-point grading systems or B on most letter grading systems
• Submit an additional test score for the GMAT/ GRE exam
• Meet U of A English language requirements
• Letters of Reference (number varies as per program)

International students must meet the entry requirements to get admission at Alberta University. The University of Alberta admission requirements vary as per the course levels. The admission requirements for international students are given below:

• Undergraduate: Majorly, the applicants must have passed Class 12 from CBSE / CISCE / Indian Boards. Also, students are required to show that they have successfully completed five academic subjects. These will vary as per programme and faculty
• Master’s programs: Generally, the applicants are required to have completed a 4-year baccalaureate degree, or its academic equivalent. An admission average GPA of 3.0 is required, based on the most recent two years of full-time study (or equivalent)
• Doctoral programs: Normally, the applicants are required to have completed a master's degree, or its academic equivalent. An admission average GPA of 3.0 is required, based on the most recent two years of full-time study (or equivalent)

Apart from meeting the above-given requirements, the applicants must meet Alberta University English language proficiency requirements.
