University of Lethbridge Placement overview

With over 48,557 alumni across the world, the University of Lethbridge is considered one of Canada’s best universities according to Maclean’s University Rankings 2022. From 2007 to 2017, the ten-year employment trend of the university stood at over 85%. The graduate employment rate at present (2022) is 94.5%. The university has a total student enrolment of 8,506, who are pursuing different level courses at different departments. Students from all across the globe make up the university population. The university has a total of 581 international students.

  • The total number of full-time students is 7,477.
  • The total number of students pursuing an undergraduate course is 7,751 and 755 is the total number of students pursuing a master’s or a doctoral degree.

This section discusses the level of employment-program relatedness, i.e how helpful were the programs pursued by them in getting employment. Students surveyed were either full-time or part-time employed or unemployed and searching for a job. Education and Business had the highest employment-program relatedness rate for ULethbridge at 92.6% and 85.2%.

All the featured disciplines at the university had a better employment rate than the national average except for Education. But in the case of part-time employment, females were ahead with 7.7% more employment rate. Those suffering from some kind of disability had only a little varied employment rate than those without a disability. Graduates with a masters or a doctoral degree had a 100% employment rate.

Here, the highest employment rate by discipline was recorded by Business at 97.2%, followed by Health Sciences and Education at 97% and 95.5% each. Next in line came Social Sciences and Sciences with the employment rate being 95.1% and 95%. The discipline yielding the lowest employment rate was Humanities with 91.8% of graduates with a job. ULethbridge Average Salary 2018

ULethbridge graduates who were working full-time had a median annual salary of $75,000. 50% of these respondents had a salary range of $57,000 to $90,000. When compared to the national median income, the university’s median salary level was $12,000 more than it.

The graph displayed below shows the 4-year salary trend of ULethbridge graduates from 2010 to 2014. The highest salary was recorded in the year 2012, with the amount being $56,600. The year 2014 recorded the lowest salary with the amount being $52,600.
