Comedians
- Develop and practice a style for presenting comedy
- Practice body language and facial expressions to match the comedy style
- Write script which they can present or may be used by other comedians
- Rehearse to build up their style
- Use props, costumes, music etc. to set the mood for a comedy show
- Perform as stand-up comedians or physical and slapstick comedians or improvise on the spot
- Perform comedy skits, humorous songs or dance to amuse
- Perform on TV or in films based on a prepared script
- May specialize in presenting comedy on politics or politicians, society and current events, unique cultures, gender based issues, comic aspects of certain groups, sports, kids, or use highly sophisticated wordplay
