Job Profile
- Supply Chain Managers plan, assemble, store, ship, and track products from the beginning to the end of the supply chain
- Work with procurement managers and buyers to select products that are in demand
- Collaborate with suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and customers
- Negotiate and sign contracts with suppliers
- Oversee the supply of good from suppliers to distribution centers and then to retailing outlets
- Manage inventory control using computer software to ensure accurate order execution, efficient shipments and delivery of products
- Monitor distribution center teams working in warehouses who take charge of receiving, storing and shipping
- Forecast demand and prepare reports for the companies management
- Use analytical and quantitative tools for improving performance and identifying potential problems
- Spot complications in the supply chain and create effective solutions
- Handle customer service issues
- Are involved in brand and marketing planning with relevant departments
