Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or 40% in restricted categories) and be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the entrance year. Counseling from the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is used to handle the admissions process. The programme costs about 8,10,535 (not including accommodation fees).

There is no specific number of rounds for the CENTAC MBBS admission process or the CENTAC NEET counselling. In general, there are three to four rounds of counselling conducted by CENTAC. For Round 1 of CENTAC NEET Counselling, the institute reporting deadline is September 5, 2024, 6 PM. In general, the institute reporting process is conducted for three to four days for each round. Candidates will have to check the important dates carefully and report to the institutes within the deadline. In certain cases, the last date of reporting to institutes is extended. There may be a possibility that CENTAC Puducherry will conduct institute reporting separately for courses or candidate categories.

Yes, after the declaration of the CENTAC NEET counselling seat allotment result, candidates will be given the option to upgrade the seat choice. Based on that, the counselling authorities will upgrade the seats based on the choices entered by candidates, in case the desired seat is vacant after the institute reporting process is concluded. Candidates must note that the seat upgradation facility will be available till the second last round only, after which, the counselling process will be concluded.

Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the CENTAC NEET UG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, they will have to present the original documents. In case some of the documents such as the Class 12 marksheet, or any category certificate is not there, candidates should carry the provisional marksheet, or alternate documents for verification purposes.

The counselling process including the registration, choice filling and locking, as well as the seat allotment result will be declared on the official website of the exam. No, NEET scores are not required for the BSc Nursing course admission through CENTAC counselling. Courses such as BSc Nursing and other paramedical courses are clubbed under the UG Non-NEET category of admission. The admission takes place on the basis of candidates' Class 12 Board exam scores and other admission criteria laid down by CENTAC.
