Hii, The difficulty of XAT, CAT, or CMAT depends on individual aptitude and preparation, but generally:CAT: Considered the toughest, with high competition and emphasis on VARC, DILR, and Quant.XAT: Moderate, with an additional Decision-Making section and essay writing, testing analytical thinking.CMAT: Comparatively easier, with a straightforward structure and questions. For Assam University, CMAT might be an easier option if you are less comfortable with tougher sections like those in CAT or XAT. Check their official admission criteria for score preferences.Thanks.

With 70% in CMAT, you've got a decent shot at both XISS Chennai and IMI Bhubaneswar, but it'll depend on a few things.First, check the cut-offs. They can vary each year, so don't stress too much if you're a bit below—both places look at more than just your CMAT score.Your profile matters too. If you've done well in your academics, been part of extracurriculars, or have some work experience, that'll definitely help. And remember, the interview round is a game-changer! Nail that, and you've got a strong chance. So yeah, don't overthink. Apply, give it your best, and stay confident.

No, you will not require giving the exam of CMAT for the course of mass communication and journalism from Gujarat University. The CMAT is basically an entrance examination that can be cleared by students who want to undergo an MBA course from one of the B schools. For courses in mass communication and journalism, the entrance examination is mostly conducted by Gujarat University or through some other process.

Yes, one can even join BLDEA's A S Patil College of Commerce for MBA/PGDM without CMAT. There are other standard tests accepted by the college such as Karnataka PGCET or KMAT. In the case of these tests, most students are admitted based on merit, and then given an opportunity to counsel. For direct admissions there might be some seats for the management quota. Make sure you have 50% in graduation for General category and 45% for  reserved category.
