The eligibility criteria for applying to undergraduate courses vary depending on the type of institution. In general, for regular universities or colleges, the minimum age requirement is usually 17 years, and the maximum age is around 23 years for most undergraduate programs. However, open universities usually do not have an upper age limit for undergraduate courses. This means that individuals of any age can apply and pursue undergraduate degrees through open universities. It's important to note that the age requirements and admission policies can differ between different states of the country too. For example, Tamil Nadu has an upper limit of 21 years for pursuing UG courses.
