Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subject and secured the above mentioned percentage in the subjects taken together. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PwD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020. Really good faculty, Highly recommended.

Placements: Talking about placements in top multinational companies of the world and companies related to the Engineering field, I was truly disappointed with the opportunities that I got. The companies which visited the college was either marketing or call centres. Most of the students were not provided any placement when they completed the course. There was no internship provided by the college. A placement cell is active in the college but it needs to improve the amount of opportunities provided for the students studying a professional course such as Engineering.

Infrastructure: Ammini college of engineering is located on a 13 acre rural campus. It is situated at a distance of 17 Km from Palakkad city. The college offers B.Tech courses in 5 branches of Engineering (60 seats each). It has mainly 3 blocks in which the 5 Engineering departments are divided. There is also a buliding for the Library and main Computer lab. The classrooms are spacious and are comfortable. The atmosphere here is peaceful which is ideal for learning process. Classrooms are equipped with basic electrical equipments such as Fan, Light etc. The hostel is near to the college campus. Seperate hostel buildings for boys and girls are provided. The hostel accommodation capacity is 300 students. Wi-Fi facility is available but it is restricted for the students. The laboratories are good and have necessary equipments. The quality of food available in the college canteen is very good. It provides homely food. I did not face any problems with the infrastructure.

Faculty: The college is AICTE approved. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and KTU. The faculty here are very supportive and friendly. I studied in the Electronics engineering department and the quality of staff in that department is very good. They are helpful to us and are knowledgeable about the subjects. Teaching methods include theoretical approaches as well as hands on experiences. The student to faculty ratio is 15.1. Sadly, we did not get enough industry exposure. All that was provided by the college was an industrial visit in the last year. The course curriculum is very useful in improving the students knowledge.

Other: Life of an Engineering student is very different from those of others. They go through a lot of stress due to the hardwork they have to deliver. In such a condition, festivals and celebrations are needed just to relax ourselves. The college is rich in those things. A arts festival named Genex is conducted every year in our college. It is a platform for showcasing our artistic talents. It also gives beautiful memories. Onam celebration is another important celebration in our college. Onam celebration takes the college atmosphere to a whole new level. A national service scheme unit is active in our college which conducts socially relevant seminars and conferences. They are also helpful in building a socially responsible professional. Scholarship schemes of the government is made available to the eligible students.

Don't admit your children in this college.

Placements: The placements are very poor because it's a private college and the faculty members are very sincere. In the upcoming years, the management will give better placements to the students. Very few students have got the job through the campus placement. Placement cell is very supportive and helpful.

Infrastructure: The college was established in the year 2010. Admin block is looking good, and other blocks were inferior in infrastructure because of leakage problem, and the canteen is bad. Hostel rooms are very bad. We don't have any Wi-Fi facilities. Labs are looking good. No medical facility is provided in our college.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and supportive. Almost all faculty members are knowledgeable persons, and their teaching quality is pretty good. Faculty members are following the university syllabus for teaching. It's beneficial to the students, and they also discuss different question papers.

Other: The events like Onam, arts day are celebrated. We have a good crowd, and campus surroundings are very poor.

Good for infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: The placement opportunities are poor compared to other engineering institutions. We have seen BPOs came for the placements. The placement cell is trying hard to bring some software companies to the institution. They also conduct mock placement drives to make students confident enough to attend off-campus placements outside.

Infrastructure: The college is good in infrastructure. There are separate blocks for all the branches. A centralised library that has both magazines and core subjects. All the labs are well occupied with all the safety measures. Separate and spacious hostel for boys and girls. The canteen is also spacious with a good quality of food.

Faculty: This college is affiliated to Kerala Technical University and the University of Calicut. The standard of teaching is really good. All the faculty members in the college are post graduates with proper teaching experience. One can reach to any faculty for help. They are really helpful in clearing the doubts of the students.

It is the best private college in Palakkad.

Placements: A job fair was conducted on campus. Many companies like Infosys, Sutherland and some banks visited the campus. The placement training was provided from 2nd year onwards. Aptitude classes, communication classes, group discussions and interviews were also conducted.

Infrastructure: The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms were huge. Sports day was conducted to encourage students. The football team of the college has won many awards. The canteen was very spacious, and food was served at low prices. There were computer labs for each department.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well-qualified and highly experienced. Many real-time examples were used while teaching different concepts. Industrial visits were conducted in every year. The method of teaching was very helpful to attend university exams. Faculty members provided all the notes.

Other: A technical fest was conducted every year to display students projects and innovation. NSS group of the campus conducted various camps. The arts day and sports day were celebrated once a year.
