Hello Mohan,
Lateral entry into 2nd year of engineering after diploma is normally restricted to students of that state only. Of course one needs to score good marks in Diploma to get a desired college.

If I had to choose between the two of the colleges I would go for MVJ College of Engineering because of the fact that it supports:
Better infrastructure, with more greenery and Library and hostels enough to accommodate all it students.
The faculty for various departments in MVJ College of Engineering is certainly a lot better than Amrita Institute of Technology Bangalore.
But Amrita Institute of Technology has the strategic advantage of the college being located in Bangalore because of which it is able to attract a number of companies including the IT corporate companies and the core ones, for the placement drive in the college and so it is able to attract more number of core companies and Amrita Institute of technology Bangalore.

Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore and SJBIT College, Bangalore affiliated to the same Bangalore University and so follow the same curriculum of computer science course and the examination and evaluation for which is done by the same authority.
Now I would list the advantages of taking admission in both the colleges which would help you to decide better
Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore has better infrastructure in comparison to SJBIT College, Bangalore and is well connected by roads and local trains being situated in the heart of the city.
Hostel facilities at Acharya Institute are again better than its competitor college.
But coming down to the main issues, the placement at SJBIT College of Engineering is a lot better than Acharya Institute, Bangalore as a college attracts more number of core companies than in comparison to its competitor.
What's the average placement package at AIT University is lower than that of SJBIT College, Bangalore.

Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) is a better choice than MVJ College of Engineering in case of both educational quality and placements.
But instead of opting for Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest you go for CSE from AIT Bangalore.
AIT is ranked 63rd in Indian Engineering college Ranking of "Outlook India". On the other hand, MVJCE stands nowhere in top 100.
AIT Bangalore has huge campus of 120 acres whereas MVJCE has a campus of just 15 acres.
AIT maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The Institute receives a "Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence" grant from the AICTE for research activities and upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. It is one of the seven colleges in Karnataka to be funded by the World Bank and receives endowments from the VTU to carry out research in both its undergraduate and postgraduate departments.
Coming on to why to choose CSE over Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation sector is still on a slow growth in India whereas IT sector is on its top gear of growth. There is a huge demand of CSE Engineers than Aero Engineers in India. Moreover Mostly IT companies comes for placements in the college.
Hope this would help you to make a better choice.

Both the campuses offer quality education with excellent placement. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has an excellent infrastructure and their two campuses have excellent facilities. Aeronautical engineering is one of the rarest courses in the engineering section. The placements are assured by both campuses. The fee structure of both campuses is on the higher side. The faculty members of both these colleges are experienced and are very much supportive and guide students about their career. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering always conducts technical fests and workshops which help students to get more practical exposure for them. Both the colleges are supported by foreign collaborations and they are very much intended to give a very handy education for the enrolled students of the campuses. They give guidance for the better future of the students. One of the major drawbacks of AE is that there are fewer placement opportunities after leaving the campus. If a student gets a job by campus selection they will be successful. It is difficult to search for a job outside.
