Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here

AIT is better, as I'll give you a location preference at first. Bangalore is one of the biggest hubs for IT companies, plus the college has great placements and great infrastructures along with the faculty members.
