No, the ACS College of Engineering is not as good as the BMS College of Engineering. The BMS college of Engineering is one of the best aerospace engineering colleges in Karnataka with good placements. On the other hand, the ACS College of engineering has fewer placements and the quality of education is not good. Therefore the BMS College of engineering is much better than the ACS College of engineering regarding overall performance of the placement records.

But if you want to live in hostel, then you have to pay INR 80,000-85,0000 extra as hostel fee. The fees varies according to different courses. For B.Tech course, the fee goes till INR 3.9 Lakhs, whereas for M.Tech it is around INR 1.3 Lakhs.

To be eligible for B.Tech admission at ACS College of Engineering, Bangalore, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination. The candidate must have appeared for and scored a minimum of 60% in the JEE Main examination. The college also accepts scores from KCET and COMEDK UGET exams. Cannot assure you much about other Departments, but CSE and AERO are the above par branches here. Cultural fests and other events are like 3/10 rating. Talking about academics, yes you can take it as a good place, as lectures will help u a lot with the subjects and marks (talking about CSE and AERO). If u have a low rank or coming from management quota, ACSCE is a fair choice as it is growing really fast.
