Hello Mohan,
Aircraft maintenance engg is actually not engineering. It's 3 year course that enables one to get liscense from DGCA to work on commercial aircraft. 12th with PCM is the eligibility.

Hi Ma'am,
Aerospace engineering deals with designing and building machines that fly. It is one of the newest branches of engineering, and began in the 19th century with the first experiments in powered flight. As technology progressed, two specialties emerged; aeronautical engineering, which involves designing aircraft such as powered lighter-than-air craft, gliders, fixed-wing airplanes and jets, autogyros, and helicopters; and astronautical engineering, which focuses on the design and development of spacecraft. its both the degree course and engineering also as its in diploma also and graduation course also.

Hello Sambit,
The institute that you have mentioned is actually not offering any engineering course approved by AICTE. What they are doing is enabling you to complete distance education program offered by "Aeronautical Society of India" after which you get the certificate that is equivalent to BE. My sincere advice is do not go for it. This path is offered to professionals working & who cannot go to college.

As per my idea, the fee structure of aeronautical engineering is slightly higher than all other branches. On an average, it costs around 8-10 Lacs for 4 years.

Hello Shalin,
The path of admission to any engineering college is through CET or equivalent of that state. Perhaps only in TN admissions are based on marks of 12th. So follow rules applicable for your state.

Hello Nithesh,
Nobody can guarantee 100% placement. It's a question of demand & supply. But opportunities for employment after this course are indeed great.
