Dear Kushagra Tondon, I haven't any idea about AKGEC but being alumni of LPU I would love to share the details of the CSE programme at LPU with you. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Hello! Being an alumni of LPU. I would say that I don't know about the other colleges but yes I am 100% sure about LPU university. Let me share with you certain insights.
1. Good Placements: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. LPU is having outstanding Placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 Lacs package per annum. The Corporates which have visited the campus are Microsoft, Amazon, DBS Bank etc. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered till now is 42 LPA. International Companies like Hyatt (USA), Ritz Carlton (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Altruist (Africa), Al-Rakha (Dubai), Dharam Consultancy (USA) selected LPU students for International locations.
2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent.
3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools.
4. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself
5. Tie Ups: B tech in CSE has tied up with upgrade which helps to explore in better manner

a) On the basis of previous two years qualification. B) On the basis of National Level Test. C) On the basis of LPU NEST. D) On the basis of Sports, Culture etc. The students get internships at Bosch and Siemens appliances group, Bosch engineering solutions, Infineon Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions, WIPRO, INTEL, etc. LPU Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 28 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech CSE by Optmyzer.

Hi Pranul, In my experience you should go for KIET if you want to explore and live college life. Considering Civil branch, Akgec is not a good choice for you and hostel will cost you 1lakh and above for a room with 4 partners in first year and second year onwards of will cost you 1 Lacs for a room with 3 partners in last year you can take single room.

Hi Sudhanshu, Yes its definitely good to take admission in GLA University as its one of the renowned university in Northern India accredited with A grade by NAAC. TALKING ABOUT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES - If we talk about placement then. With the best of my knowledge. Various successful and top core companies like MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, TATA CONSULTANCY etc. Arrive for the placement drive and recruit ample number of students from GLA. And its wonderful that even some of the students got multiple placement offers. Which will help them to chose the best out of it. Therefore its not even a question to be asked that whether GLA will provide the best placement in return or not. !
the highest PACKAGE - In this batch, The highest package went upto 32 lacs per annum from B.Tech itself. FACULTY PROVIDED- Its always in the mind of the students that Will the university provide the same knowledge, which the students want to gain? Well adding to it, The faculty members provided to students are well qualified and Ph.D. holders which makes you relax that DEFINITELY ( You will get something worthy in return ). !
BEYOND ACADEMICS - Though the fee structure is expensive in comparison to few UPTU colleges But what if you get to know that the university will upgrade you. Not only in academics but in the field beyond than that. Imparting more knowledge to itThe university conduct various conferences in different domains which will help the students in grooming and gaining more knowledge.

Personally, as a faculty I would recommend every aspirant to pursue Engineering (B.Tech -CSE) from LPU because of the continuous efforts in providing learning environment to the student. To start with, LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. There are more than 250 courses which are offered by the University. B.Tech (CSE) is also one of the high in demand programme because of its following features:
1. Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology UG Programmes have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance.
2. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme.
