There is no way to get into Aliah University without taking an entrance exam. Aliah University has a seat reservation policy for various categories. The reservations are as follows: 4% for PC/PwD students, 5% for Disabled (Nursing) students, 10% for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) students, and 10% for students from Jammu & Kashmir. For BTech programs, 20% of seats are reserved for WBJEE candidates, while JELET candidates are allotted 2 seats for lateral entry.

Candidates for admission to B.Tech at Aliah University can apply for the first session of JEE Main 2025 between October 28 and November 22, 2024, while registration for the second session will start from January 31, 2025, to February 24, 2025.

Aliah University offers a total of 30 seats specifically for lateral entry across its BTech programmes. This includes 6 seats each in Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

All the selected candidates whose documents are found authentic, should submit the confirmation sheet, admit card for specific programs and rank card, admission receipt, passport-size photographs, and original mark sheets of Class 10 and 12.
