Nursing is typically a healthcare profession that is focused on caring for individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. A background in commerce may not be directly related to nursing, but it may be possible for you to pursue a nursing course. Many nursing programs require students to have completed high school with a strong emphasis on Science subjects such as Biology Chemistry and Physics. It's important to check the admission requirements for the nursing programs you are interested in applying to, as they may have specific prerequisites or qualifications that you will need to meet. It is also important to note that to become a nurse, one must go through a rigorous training, both academically and clinically. So, it is important for you to consider if you are willing to put in the effort and time required to pursue a nursing career. It might be helpful for you to meet with an advisory or counselor to discuss your educational and career goals and determine the best path forward for you.
