The salary of MBBS doctors at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) can vary based on several factors, including the pay scales determined by the government, job positions, and years of experience. While I don't have access to real-time salary data, I can provide you with a general idea of the salary structure for MBBS doctors at AIIMS based on the information available up until my knowledge cutoff in September 2021.
1. Internship Period:
During the internship period, which is usually the final year of the MBBS course, doctors receive a stipend. The stipend amount for interns at AIIMS can vary, but it is typically in the range of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month.
2. After MBBS Completion:
After completing the MBBS degree, doctors may join AIIMS as Junior Residents or pursue higher studies. The salary of Junior Residents at AIIMS can range from around Rs. 56,000 to Rs. 65,000 per month, depending on factors such as location, allowances, and pay scales.
3. After Postgraduate Studies:
Many doctors choose to pursue postgraduate studies after completing their MBBS. The salary and allowances for doctors pursuing postgraduate degrees, such as MD/MS, can be higher compared to Junior Residents. It's important to note that the salary structure may be revised periodically by the government and is subject to change. The specific salary details for MBBS doctors at AIIMS can be obtained from the official website of AIIMS or by contacting the respective AIIMS administration or human resources department. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on the salary structure at AIIMS it is recommended to refer to the official sources or consult with the AIIMS authorities directly.
