AIIMS and AFMC are separate medical colleges in India with different admission processes and selection criteria. Admission to AIIMS is based on the performance in the AIIMS entrance exam, while admission to AFMC is through the NEET exam followed by a separate entrance test conducted by AFMC. Therefore, not getting selected for AFMC medicals does not necessarily affect your chances of getting admission to AIIMS provided you meet the eligibility criteria and score well in the AIIMS entrance exam. However, admission to AIIMS is highly competitive, and the selection depends on various factors, such as the number of available seats, the number of applicants, and the cutoff score. So, it is possible to get admission to AIIMS even if you did not pass in AFMC medicals, but it would depend on your performance in the AIIMS entrance exam and other admission criteria set by the college.

The INI CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) is the entrance examination conducted for admission to postgraduate courses at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research), PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), and NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences). If you have already been admitted to an AIIMS course starting in July and wish to appear for the INI CET again in November, it would be best to refer to the specific guidelines and policies of AIIMS regarding reappearing for the entrance examination. Generally, AIIMS may have certain rules and restrictions regarding appearing for the entrance exam while being enrolled in a course. I recommend checking the official AIIMS website or contacting the AIIMS admissions office directly to inquire about their policies and guidelines regarding reappearing for the INI CET while already enrolled in an AIIMS course. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information based on their specific regulations.
