B.Com. in Travel and Tourism Management - Batch of 2021

Our college is strict but worth in the end.
Placements: Since it is a government-aided college, no placements are offered and no company visit for placements.
Infrastructure: Commerce block is a 15-minute walk from the main gate which is far away from the main building. There are 2 UG classes and 1 PG class with 3 and 2 divisions each. One class has 50 students and there are only 3 toilets. Its a long queue of 10 girls for the restroom. The hostel is good but the food quality is very bad. Most of the hostelers eat from the college canteen which is so good. Library is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and skilled. The quality of teaching is very good, especially in our department. The difficulty of the exams depends on the questions because it's given by the University. The pass percentage is good. The difficulty of internals depends on the teacher.
Other: The number of events and fests depends on your student council and the Chair person. During my first year, the fests were just for namesake but the second year was good because of the new council and the CP.

Very much satisfied with college because of the campus and the faculty, good placements.
Placements: Around 50 % of the students were placed from our passing out batch. The average package is around 4-6 Lacs. The highest package is around 10 Lacs per year. People who were interested could easily get internship around 40%. There are many roles offered in the courses based on the type of projects.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are pretty good. Infrastructure is above average. Labs are available for different courses. Classrooms are good. Library facilities are pretty decent with enough materials for all available courses. We have a first aids and good grounds.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful with enough exposure. They have decent and deep knowledge. The teaching quality is very good Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. The students are industry ready based on the courses. The semester exams are common in the Kerala University and hence is standard and difficult. Pass percentage is around 60-70 %. .
Other: I chose the course, because of my interest in commerce. The best things in the course is obviously the college life. The things that can be improved are the curriculum with more interaction with other industries and experiences. Fests are there all over the year and is pretty grand.

All Saints College, pros and cons .
Placements: About 25% of students were placed in the B.Com Finance batch during the course. The highest package offered was 20,000, with the average being 13,000LPA and the lowest being 10,000LPA. Top recruiting companies that came in were Allianz, CareRevenue, etc. Most of the students were placed in Allianz. Top roles offered were HR Assistant, Junior Finance Executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice; the campus is vibrant with a lot of trees and space for students to sit down and relax. There are labs for each department. The library has many books, study materials, journals, project reports, etc. The ASC hostel is well-maintained, with great and spacious infrastructure. The mess is only available for hostelers; others can get food from the canteen. A nursing room is yet to be developed; it's a major drawback. Sports are given adequate importance on campus.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have Ph.D. Every single faculty is well-qualified and experienced. Portions will be covered on time. The teaching quality is top-class. The course curriculum followed is of Kerala University. Semester exams are not that difficult if you prepare well. The pass percentage is more than 85%.
Other: All Saints is an aided college with a lot of history and a vibrant campus. The only drawback is the strictness of the management and some restrictions that come along with it.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements and good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 65% of the students from our course got placed. There is no highest, lowest, or average package provided here. Even our higher secondary marks are also considered. Infosys and Technocrats are the top recruiting companies. The B.Com course offers many top roles as well.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available include wi-fi, classrooms, a library, etc. The quality of the hostel, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games is 5 star.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, which helps students. There is no difference in the difficulty of semester exams in this college. 50% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I love to study account-based subjects. All the activities in college are pretty good.

Overall, our college is the best.
Placements: About 65% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered is 1 LPA. A top recruiting company that visit our college for placements is Wipro. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship. Our college provides good placements. All the companies visit our college are highly recognised. Most of the students get placement here. Placements are quite different from other colleges. I love the way they conduct the placements, and we are satisfied to get selected.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. I do not know about labs because I am a B.Com student. The hostel facility is good. The food served is quite decent. We should fight for food and snacks like small kids.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and friendly. They are ready to help students every time. The office staff members are good to us. They understand our problems and solve them. I like our teachers and staff members because they are the best. We always love and care for them.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like commerce and I want to become an accountant. I like to calculate money and enter the data. I like to handle the accounts of companies.
