If possible try to give some other exams as well to increase your chances of getting admission. Go for XIME Bangalore. You need not stay at your home town and do your MBA. You should consider place and exposure as well. Come out of your comfort zone, you will put through tests and vigorous training. Bangalore being the IT hub can give you a better exposure in terms of placements and learning.

As far as PSG is considered, it is fair better to pursue MBA in finance. You get practical learning by way of Trading Lab and other infrastructures present. As far as placements is concerned, it all depends on two years of the course of study and how you perform in those 2 years.
