Apart from the serene campus, ASB curriculum pattern is in trimesters which help us to maintain international standards with B-Schools. Our program at ASB provides dual degree which includes streams from, marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and systems. This year (2015 placements) we saw over 71 companies visiting ASB with highest CTC of 12 lakhs per annum with 4 International placements and 11 dual placements with marketing profiles dominating the show. We also have a dedicated IBM analytics laboratory and our library system provides access to most of the top international journals and research papers which can be utilized by the students to carry out their research process. The various certifications that comes as a part of the curriculum are from IBM business analytics, SHRM, SAP ERP, copal amba, six sigma and few more. We encourage business simulation and analytics and hence, we have made CAPSTONE Business Simulation Global challenge as a mandatory program for all students in the Strategic Management course. As a member of AACSB, a gold standard for B-Schools world over, our curriculum is globally bench-marked against the best. ASB offers international dual degree and student exchange programs with TEM France (24th Ranked B-School in the world), State University at Buffalo, New York (at Bengaluru campus) University of Groningen, Uppsala University, Deakin University and University of New Mexico. Most recently our student represented India at the ESOMAR APAC 2015. Under the World Bank funded initiative India: e-Delivery of public services we were awarded a research grant to build an e Governance Analytics Platform. The mess provides a good variety of vegetarian food and is healthy too.

It completely depends on your area of interest. ASB has the legacy of pulling in companies from all domains. No particular domain has an edge over others. Providing quality education to face any kind of interview is the ultimate goal. Each year 100+ companies visit the campus. The first year is a common trimester for every individual and by the end of the first year, the course asks you to go through an internship program by which you will be able to decide on the domain which you can pursue in your second year. Just be open to what you learn and you will be able to figure out the best which fits you.

The placement process is handled by the corporate and industrial relations cell of the Amrita University for all the campuses. Hence, there is no difference in placements. However the electives offered at Coimbatore are bit different from the rest of it's campuses. Hence the course can be seen differently in the eyes of the companies coming for placements.
