Coimbatore is the main campus. All others are the department of management studies under schools of engineering. ASB Coimbatore also has a dedicated IBM analytics laboratory and our library system provides access to most of the top international journals and research papers which can be utilized by the students to carry out their research process. The various certifications that come as a part of the curriculum are from IBM Business Analytics, SHRM, SAP ERP, Copal Amba, Six Sigma and few more. We encourage business simulation and analytics and hence, we have made CAPSTONE Business Simulation Global challenge as a mandatory program for all students in the Strategic Management course.
Also, ASB Coimbatore has a different elective structure which makes it positioned differently and hence you see the difference in the fee structure.

When it comes to festivities such as Gokulashtami, Onam the preparations go on full night and no one would miss that. Classes begin at 8:55 in the morning. So, chose wisely.

Dear Riya Singh,
Last year, the CMAT cut-off for MBA in Amrita School of Business was 70 percentile. The cut-off percentile changes every year. You should score well in the CMAT exam.
All the best.

HI,
Amity is different from BIMM. I would suggest you Amrita University, because it is the topmost and strength is low. Usually in MBA, studying in colleges with low strength is an added advantage. Amrita is a decent brand unlike BIMM, which might not be well received beyond Pune. Faculty is also good at Amrita. Placement wise the data provided by both institutes seem same but highest salary higher in Amrita. While ASB is fully residential, BIMM is based on first come first serve basis for hostel. BIMM would be more diverse than ASB. While BIMM has students representing every corner of the country, Amrita will have around 40% from Tamil Nadu and Kerala each and remaining 20% from others. Fee is slightly higher in Amrita than BIMM. So, in my opinion, MBA from Amrita would do you good. Don't prefer management colleges with high strength. Even if not Amrita, don't join any college with huge batch size. But, Amrita, Coimbatore is definitely good.

Both PSGIM and ASB are equal and have almost same brand value for their MBA, though not comparable to their engineering courses. Both have good accreditation. If you join through TANCET, then fees for PSGIM is just Rs 4 lakhs, while through MAT or CAT scores will cost you Rs 10 lakh, while ASB fee is around Rs 11 lakhs. Both their average salaries usually range around Rs 5-6 lakhs. While Amrita has centralized placements, so if you happen to be in top 10 percent of ASB, it will be advantage than PSGIM but top 10 means it also includes students from their Bangalore and Kochi campus. ASB is slightly strict which might be uncomfortable to some. I hope my answer helps you.

The answer is a definite No. The basis of selection are your UG grades, your percentile score in CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE and performance in the interview. MAT score is not accepted in Coimbatore campus. From the placement point of view, some companies which come to the campus insist on valid reasons for them to be convinced with regards to this. Good luck!
