Yes, Amrita School of Engineering accepts JEE scores for admission to B.Tech programs. In fact, they consider scores from both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. However, the weightage given to each score varies depending on the programme and admission quota:Admission Quota:All India Quota (AIQ): 35% of seats are reserved for candidates from all over India based on their JEE Main rank.Management Quota: 15% of seats are reserved for candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced or through the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE).Weightage: JEE Main: For seats under the AIQ, the admission process is done through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling. Here, your JEE Main rank will be the primary factor determining your admission chances.JEE Advanced: For seats under the Management Quota, your performance in JEE Advanced or AEEE will be considered along with your academic marks in Class 12th.

Applicants must have appeared for JEE (Main) in 2023. The total percentile in this exam is mandatory for application to this mode of admission. For candidates who attempt JEE Main exam more than once in 2023 (as there are 2 sessions), the best percentile of the attempts as reported by NTA will be considered. Ties among applicants in the total percentile are resolved by considering first the Maths, then the Physics and then the Chemistry percentiles from the corresponding examination before ranking all applicants.Any ties at the subjects level among applicants will be handled by assigning the same rank to the applicants who will then be treated on par. Class XII marks have no bearing on the ranking and seat allotment.

There are different reservation categories for Indian students, such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwD. These categories often have lower cutoff scores than the general category. In general, a 75 percentile in JEE is not considered high enough for admission to Amrita's most popular B.Tech programs, especially on the Coimbatore campus. The cutoff for CSE at Coimbatore, for example, is usually around 97 percentile. However, you may still have a chance of getting admission to other programs or less popular campuses with your score
