Hello Nishar Ahmed, ARCH college of Design & Business and Amity Jaipur were formed or established around approximately same time. Former is a private college affiliated to Rajasthan University for some courses and to RISU for some other courses. On the other hand Amity Jaipur is a deal to be university. Of course both being non public founded can charge fees to the extent they can. ARCH charges about rupees 4 lacs, approximately, per year for 4 year design degree course. On the other hand Amity Jaipur charges about rupees 5.3 Lacs approximately for its four years design degree course. This, we can see that over a 4 year period, the same difference is about rupees 1 lakh, with Amity charging this much more as compared with ARCH. But then when one studies in Amity, it's a University in itself whereas the other institution is bound by various rules and regulations of the Rajasthan University. Hello Nishar Ahmed, getting 75 percentile in ISC is definitely indicative of the calibre of the student. Best on this alone one can say that this student will definitely get admission for B Des at ARCH. But then one needs to know the unique methodology adopted by this institute for giving admission. They claim that they do not give admission only on the aptitude of the students which is determined by different entrance test but they give admission to those students who have attitude for the design even though they may not have scored quite well in any of the entrance exams or even in the 12th board. This Institute conducts its own entrance exam which purportedly analyses the attitude of the student and not the aptitude. And hence appearing for this test which is available for taking over a period of 1 month in the online mode followed by an interview at the institute is a must for seeking admission.         Checking the attitude of the student for his capacity or capability of designing is a very subjective matter and no one can predict how the evaluators at this Institute will evaluate the performance of a student in the examination conducted by this Institute, as well as the interview which follows this examination. But a student who is studying even in 11th can enter the four stage admission process of this Institute. Of course admission will be granted only after passing of 12th standard examination.       This institution claims that they desire to have students who have an attitude for design and not simply aptitude for scoring high marks in examination. Hello Nishar Ahmed, ARCH college of Design and Business is indeed a very unique institution located in Jaipur and established in the year 2000.         It follows a very odd or unique methodology for giving admissions. Even though college has not prescribed any cutoffs or minimum marks to be obtained in 12th, in fact going on to state that even 11th class students can apply, it, all the same, has some unique screening ways.           Prospective students have to register first, called request form. Institute will then contact and ascertain suitability by telephonic discussion. Student is then required to register for and take entrance exam conducted by the institute. This is supposed to be the attitude test and not an aptitude test! Successful completion of the test will be followed by an interview and offer of admission.        As one can see, there is lot of subjectivity in the whole procedure. Avowed aim of the institution for this is to check the mental ability and capacity of the student to undertake design studies.      So in nutshell, no cutoff but possibility of rejection at every step of admission process.Best wishes to you.

ARCH's BDes programme, in collaboration with the University of Rajasthan and Pearson BTEC, offers specializations in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewelry Design, Product Design, and Graphic Design. Eligible candidates for these courses are those who have completed Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board, with a minimum of 48% aggregate. Applicants with pending results and a good score in pre-board examinations are also eligible.

The BDes course from ARCH depends on the score achieved in the AIEED, All India Entrance Examination for Design, through which eligible candidates are evaluated and admitted to the specific specialisations. The total seat intake in each specialisation is limited to 20 students so that the student learns intensively and with more fulfillment.

The AIEED score achieved by the eligible candidate will form the basis for admission to the BA program at ARCH. That means the AIEED score is the main deciding factor for assessing and selecting the candidates in the specializations covered under the BA program. Students could pursue their areas of choice based on merit within a standardized process that followed comprehensive entrance examinations.

ARCH BBA follows the criteria of admission through academic merit followed by institute-level PI round.
