Yes, admission to the Master's in Hospital Administration (MHA) program at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is done through a special entrance examination. The AFMC conducts its own entrance exam, which is called the AFMC MHA Entrance Exam. This exam is conducted once a year, usually in the month of June or July.
The AFMC MHA Entrance Exam consists of a written test, followed by an interview. The written test is conducted in two parts: Part I and Part II. Part I is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) test, while Part II is a subjective test. The written test assesses the candidate's knowledge in various areas, including healthcare management, hospital administration, and general awareness.
After clearing the written test, candidates are called for an interview, which is the final stage of the selection process. The interview assesses the candidate's personality, communication skills, leadership qualities, and overall suitability for the MHA program.
It is important to note that the AFMC MHA Entrance Exam is highly competitive, and only a limited number of candidates are selected for the MHA program each year. Therefore, it is recommended that you prepare well for the exam and seek guidance from qualified professionals to increase your chances of success.
