Many MDS graduates from ACDS opt for private practice, join the armed forces, or pursue roles in academia or government positions. The college provides a strong foundation for clinical skills and career opportunities, but salary figures largely depend on the graduate's chosen path, location, and expertise.

Most students pursuing MDS actually get into building their private practices or working in the private sector. The placement cell at ACDS operates with the purpose of bridging students to prospective employers, including hospitals, clinics, and educational institutions. However, the smooth placement process is dependent on specialization, performance, and networking.

It is not easy to gain admission in MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences; NEET MDS scores should be quite good for that as it is a highly competitive examination. Seats are limited, and one has to depend on the performance in the entrance exam for admission. Children of army personnel do get some reservation in a quota, but to secure a seat, one still has to perform well academically and score high in NEET MDS. In case, choices are made for some popular specializations, then the competition becomes tougher, but overall, it is quite feasible for the right contender.
