To join the Army Institute of Law (AIL) in Mohali, candidates must pass the Law Entrance Test (LET):The LET is an online, 200-mark, 2-hour exam.The exam is divided into four sections:EnglishMathematics and reasoningLegal sectionGK and current affairsThe AIL conducts the LET under the aegis of AWES.The AIL conducts the LET to admit 75 seats for wards of army personnel and 5 seats for the All India Category.To apply for the BA LLB course, candidates must have completed 10+2 exams from Punjab School Education Board or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate score.LLB or BA-LLB degree holders with minimum 55% marks are also eligible for admission. Candidates can apply for the AIL-LET online from the official website of the AIL. Admission is based on the marks scored in the LET.

The selection process for both courses is based on the Law Entrance Test conducted by AIL Mohali. Applications for these courses are accepted online.
