Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

Infrastructure is nice and placements are also good. Teachers help us to do projects.
Placements: In 2021 55% students have been placed in companies by attending campus interviews in our college. Rest of them decided to do post graduation. Students also get placed in well known companies like CTS, WIPRO, etc. Training is given to students by the teachers.
Infrastructure: There is a decent hostel life having libraries, physical education and Including a gym. Food is not bad at all. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian are provided. There is a decent menu in hostel mess. Separate hostels for boys and girls are there. Separate wardens are appointed.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Some of the teachers are friendly to students. There is also a smart class for complicated subjects. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited due to the students' privacy issues. Some programs are conducted by the teachers.

Our college should improve placement activities, but the college is good.
Placements: Arunai Engineering College was among top 20 colleges in Anna University. But we don't have many placements opportunities barely 20-30 companies visit our college for placements. Mostly those companies are small scale industries in and around the college. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Internships are compulsory for all the students where they can do it on their own.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. Our college provides facilities like TV, mess hall and geyser in the hostel. Non-vegetarian food is also provided in the hostel. Quality of the food served is good and hygiene.
Faculty: Compared to other engineering colleges, our college fee is too low and affordable, but the college standard is average. Lots of exams are conducted throughout the academic year. Some staff members will help you out by conducting special classes to make sure the students are strong with the subject. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready to work under an organisation. As like all the colleges under Anna University, our college also follows the same course curriculum given by Anna University. Every semester consists of both theoretical and practical paper. Mostly in the first and two-year language paper will be part of the semester.
Other: The college has a very good name, but it should try to invite more companies for placement. It is one of the top colleges in Anna University.

Top engineering college in Tiruvannamalai.
Placements: The percentage of placing students will be up to 80 percent every year. Companies like TCS, L&T, and Infosys hire students from these colleges every year. And they are also conducting several programs regarding placements, workshops, webinars, and internships.
Infrastructure: It's a stress-free environment with spacious classrooms everywhere. This was a very old engineering college in our district, even though it was maintained in good condition till now. There is a green environment everywhere, and our canteen serves high-quality foods.
Faculty: Departments like electrical and electronics are a little bit harder to study, and cracking those examinations is also a bigger challenge. But our teachers helped us clear those exams with higher grades. They are more responsible and interested in solving our queries.

Good place to gain your knowledge.
Placements: I completed my BE in the year of 2015. In my batch 25% of the students got placed through placement. But my senior batch had a very good placement opportunities. During our batch we had salary package around 4 lacs per annum. At that time we didn't have any proper placements coming company. But may be now it would have changed.
Infrastructure: Classroom facilities are okay. No gadgets are allowed inside the campus and no Wi-Fi facilities. During project submission you can bring your laptops. And outside food are strictly not allowed in the hostel. Hostel has various restrictions and rules such as study hour for continuous 2 hours. Labs are well-equipped.
Faculty: Some faculty members are well trained and experienced people. Some are from the passed out PG batch. Course was designed in a way where this covers all the knowledge and skills needed for the industries. Apart from that faculty members are very helpful in guiding and coaching at anytime.

Average placements and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: Arunai will provide placement opportunities in BPO and IT companies. It is a good college to learn. There are placement classes for learning about aptitude and developing skills. Wipro and some BPO companies provide placements in Arunai engineering college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Arunai is good. It has all the facilities like labs, library, sports ground, and fitness gym. There are hostel facilities also, with clean rooms and good food. The classrooms are neat and clean. The canteen food is of quality and at less cost. I never faced issues with the infrastructure.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good in electronics and communication engineering. We learned about professional skills in Arunai. It is a good college for engineering. Teaching methods are good and they conduct special classes for those who have arrears in subjects.
