Candidate must have aggregate 50%, Passed in Mathematics and Physics Candidates who has passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination is eligible to apply provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular Course of Study after passing the previous qualifying examination. For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education /Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks.

Best college for the over all development of personality.

Placements: There is a placement cell present in the college but you cannot expect anything great of any sort. The only major company that visited was L&T and TCS (BPS department), apart from that there is nothing much in placement department and truly speaking you cannot expect much while pursuing your honours degree.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best that you will get compared to any college under CU. The classrooms are spacious with smart classroom also available. Coming to the lab, our lab I not large in size but it is the best in the facilities and equipments that is available. Canteen is large with seating arrangement, food is available an affordable rate but the taste is not out of this world.

Faculty: Teachers in our department our great, not only do they have great knowledge of the subject but are always there to help anyone who wants to clear his/her doubt. The teacher-student ratio is approximately 1:12. The curriculum is interesting and emersive but a bit out dated as well, hopefully the syllabus gets updated as par with the growing technology.

Other: The campus is always filled with students, and there are a lot of events that take place throughout the year. The best thing about this college is the connection with the juniors and seniors. There is nothing such as ragging but instead a lot of love and bonding with the fellow students. The fest are lively and fun-filled. There are many groups including the college dance crew, cricket club, football team and even gaming teams.
