A good college with good faculty and placements, but dissatisfied with its infrastructure.
Placements: Few placements are provided which are related to my stream, but many companies related to CSE and ECE branches come to our college. Many job mela programs are held in my college. Most of the government companies participate in it like BHEL, BDL, DRDL, etc. The college conducts regular placement drives. Many workshops are conducted for students to gain experience for interviews. Recently, my college organised a job mela, more than 1000 people participated in it.
Infrastructure: The labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms and medical facilities must be improved. Sports ground and games are not in a proper condition. Canteen food is very good, but the maintenance of canteen is bad. I have faced infrastructure issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: There were only a few faculty members until my 3rd year, but their number increased in my 4th year. There are many PhD members in my department. Their teaching quality was very good in my 4th year compared to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years. The student-faculty ratio was 40:1. We went to many industries in my 4 years tenure, and it was useful.
Other: Udhbava is a 2-days event celebrated in our college. My college conducts international and national conferences.

Satisfactory because of Some faculty who actively taking part to uplifts the department.
Placements: There is a placement assistant in our college but those are not much useful to the students. Because most of the companies only recruiting for like BPO, tele calling customer service etc. No placements related to respective department. The percentage is not upto to the expectations which maintain constant every year.
Infrastructure: The main heart of the college is library because there are lots of volumes related to academics and also research papers, Novels, National and International tech papers. No Wi-Fi facility for the students. There are 60 students seated classrooms with good ventilation. The worst Labs were we have a dead equipments. A Good priority for Sports and Games.
Faculty: No faculty is Good enough to understand the present technology. The way of approach towards teaching is not satisfactory. Department of mechanical engineering is satisfactory because of conducting seminars every week as well as project expo. Also the team work towards different major and minor projects including faculty are very supportive.
Other: Sports and Games have a Good priority. Events and fests are also part academic calander.

It is worth getting into this college. Placements in 2017 is huge. There are good faculty.
Placements: When compared to the past 4 to 5 years of placements, this year, a huge number of students are being placed in MNCs, banking sectors, etc. Salary packages are quite average when we take it into consideration. The top salary package is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.8 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Genpact, Libsys, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. visited our college this year for placement. Our college supports us to undergo many internships (paid and non-paid) to develop the interpersonal relationship and work nature. I think the highest stipend for the internship is Rs. 10,000 and the lowest one is Rs. 1,000. On an average, many students worked as an intern for free. Our college has a placement cell, where all the information about top companies is passed to every student.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have a great infrastructure when compared to the other colleges, but we have good labs, Wi-Fi (free and open) and promisingly I can say that we have a good playground. Canteen food is quite tasty, but some dishes like Chinese, idly etc. are prominent and which is worth paying for it. I don't have much knowledge about college hostel as I'm a day scholar. Most probably I didn't face any infrastructure related issue.
Faculty: When I started my career in Aurora, I was scared about teaching. Later on, they have hired most experienced faculty who hold PhD as well. The present scenario is quite different from the past situation. The faculty members are very intellectual, very supportive and they are exploring great knowledge to us. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1 I got industry exposure, as we all went to KTPS and I visited NTPC, DRDO, SCCL etc. The course curriculum was very useful, and in fact, we all got a clear vision of our course from those industries.

A right choice if you need only subject knowledge and a wrong choice if you need all the facilities.
Placements: The campus placements are good. Like many of the companies attending here like Genpact, HCL, etc. If have right stuff you are lucky to get into this college. Last year campus placements percentage was 62%. The highest salary paid to my senior was 35 k per month, and the basic salary would be starting from 15k per month. The assistant supervisor would be the basic job role, and then, if students are well-trained in CNC machine operating, respective companies would offer certain jobs which deal with coding and programming in CNC. Aurora is not so good if you're looking for a placement compulsory. Many of the average students who score 50-62% may not have the chance to get placements. Comparing to other branches mechanical has fewer campus placements in our college than CSE branch. The placements interviews are just done by good speaking skills, bold enough to talk, little knowledge about the subject. Later percentage plays an important role in placements job. If you're looking only for the placements, I wouldn’t recommend this Aurora at all. After getting your placements job, the candidate must sign the bond that they will work for 2 years to that company and no matter what or else the placement job would be rejected.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available in our college. The labs and machine equipment are not much better but okay to use and make aware of the students. The library is good enough for our college. No extra fees are charged for taking books from the library. 2 books per student are the rule in the library. Many books are available in our library according to the respective branches. No medical facilities available except the first-aid kit, and the hospitals from our college is quietly far about 4 to 5 km. Our college is good at cricket, handball(girls), volleyball. Many games also available for basketball, table tennis, etc., but the important is given only for the cricket game. The labs quality is just okay like 2.3 out of 5 just to satisfy our needs. The classrooms are good, and each classroom is monitored by CC cam which is checked by a respective staff. The quality of the food available in our canteen is good, but you may not find many varieties. No college hostel is provided near the college, but college hostel is available at Dilshuknagar which is far away from our college. Before canteen would not be clean, as well as food is not worth the money but its okay now. Coming towards transportation, college bus is available, and it is charged around 21k to me. Charges may vary according to respective distance.
Faculty: Every faculty is highly certified, and it is good to be a part of them. They clear each and every doubt without hesitating and answers us in a friendly matter. The faculty used to show videos if the subject was complicated to understand and demonstrate some practical work which is easy to understand. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:25. No industrial exposure took place to me. The faculty is the only reason I recommend to join Aurora’s scientific and technological research academy. If you only need a good subject knowledge than other facilities, Aurora would be the best choice.
Other: The college road is not good. It is covered with mud and waste materials of the localities and its hard to breathe after entering into the college lane until you reach the college. No bus is dropped in front of the college, and you have to walk around 2 KM.

Auroras scientific Technology and Research academy is a Temple of Learning
Placements: The placements in Aurora Scientific, Technological and Research Academy is well compared to other colleges. The companies that visit for placements are Infosys, Bajaj, Amazon, Tata Motors and so many more companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in ASTRI includes a big playground in which basketball court, volleyball net are available. Every week, we participate and play cricket, football, basketball, etc. The infrastructure is nice for higher education in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college is maintained neatly, and all the equipment in the lab work well.
Faculty: The faculty are good, and the teaching skills are nice. The faculty have good knowledge. There are a lot of sports and festivals conducted in my college. The faculty and director madam are good. Our director is Ms. Srilatha garu. The curriculum has perfectly exhausted programs.
