Our college has experienced faculty members but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: In our branch, only 30% of students were placed. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.6 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like BYJU's, Extramarks, ATV Projects, TCS, etc., visited our campus. Around 80 students got internships at automobile companies. Top roles offered were machine operator, supervisor, manager, etc.
Infrastructure: There were workshops, a physics lab, a chemistry lab, and a library available. The food available in the mess was good in taste and reasonable. Medical facilities were available. Sports Week is organised every year by the AKTU and college, which has all the required sports equipment and tools for students.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They had unique teaching styles for different students. This course was relevant to those who were interested in machines and automation. This course made students industry-ready. Semester exams were easy.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in machines and automation since childhood. If workshops and practical facilities were provided to students more often, then this course would be the best. The annual festival is organised every year in September. The campus crowd was usually made up of local students. The college is situated in the middle of the market. A UP scholarship was provided to eligible students. Extracurricular activities are organized almost every month for students' development.

It is an average college.
Placements: Placements were very few in our college. Only a few students got placed in our college in some companies. Almost 50% of students got placed in CSE and ECE courses. Almost 40% of students got placed in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average. All buildings had a separate partition for branches with Wi-Fi networks. Our college had a separate hostel for girls and boys. The food served in the mess was good. Our college building, labs, auditorium hall, and library had a well-designed interior.
Faculty: Faculty members were average. Some were good and taught us in-depth concepts. They had not provided real-time knowledge. Our college is affiliated with AICTE and AKTU, Lucknow. The course curriculum helped us to pass exams.
Other: Our college is good and provides many job opportunities. Our college should focus on practical knowledge instead of theoretical. Students who are eligible for scholarships can apply for state government scholarships.

It is an excellent college with good placements.
Placements: The procedure of placements starts from the 4th year. There are no placements offers till 3rd year but there is an option that you can go off-campus for the application of placement. In the 4th year, various companies come to hire students with good packages of 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure with maintainance. At the entrance, you can see good parks where students can connect with nature. Classesrooms are well cleaned and ventilated with good sitting facilities so that the students get all the desired facilities.
Faculty: The college organises 3 class tests during the full semester which helps students to get fully prepared for the external exams. Teachers give good quality questions which help students a lot in the preparation for placement interviews.
Other: I chose the mechanical branch as the teachers here are well qualified and provide excellent quality of knowledge. The teachers give proper explanations of every topic such that all the topics are well understood. The college provides good scholarship facilities for the needy ones.

I am quite dissatisfied due to the old structure.
Placements: On average, 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. The top recruiter is Namo Alloys. Due to the pandemic, most of the students did online internships, by which there is a lack of experience and knowledge of the industry. The course structure is not compatible with the new era.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. Most of the lab equipment is old, and labs are also not of good quality. Wi-Fi is not available, and it is of poor quality. Very few students stay in the hostel as it is not in good condition. Books provided by the library are old, due to which students are unaware of new technologies.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced, and teaching quality is also good. Teachers lack experience with the new technology. The course curriculum is decided by AKTU, which is relevant to today's demand in industries.

Average teaching, less placements, fine infrastructure.
Placements: When I was in final year, about 30% of students were placed in various companies that had visited the college. Mostly marketing companies visit college campus. No core company visit the college for mechanical branch. The companies which visit college are KI Conequip, Rainbow Consultancy etc. These companies offers a package of 2 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of college is average. The projector system is provided in some classrooms. The labs for mechanical branch are highly developed and well-equipped. There is one canteen in our college campus. No medical facilities in the college. The college has a library also. The college organises various sports tournaments every year.
Faculty: Some faculty are good and some are of average level. Some faculty provide guidance to students in terms of career. The teaching quality is fine. The course we are learning is not updated to current technology. Hence it is not relevant to industry requirement. It doesn't make the students ready for industry.
Other: I choose this course because I wanted to go further in this stream only. If you study this course, you can achieve whatever you wish. Practical knowledge is to be included in this course to make it better. An annual fest is organised in college every year.
