I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty; and really good infrastructure.
Placements: 10-12% of students were placed in my course. Yearly, 1200 were taken from us for the course, and student concessions on the fees were also available for needy students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available, well-maintained lab, classrooms are large, and hardly any books are not available in the library. I can't give information about the hostel, as I have not used it, but the quality of the food available in the canteen was very good.
Faculty: Obviously, there are two semesters of exams each year. 90% is the pass percentage.

My College Experience During My Time at Barasat Government College (WB, India).
Placements: 34% of students of Barasat government College placed in my course. If I talk about the highest package course price, it was 2399 rupees, the average was 1999 rupess and the lowest CTC was 1399 rupees. The top 2 companies that offered us a job after the course is Unacademy, Byjus, etc. The average 12% of students got their internship after this 1-year course in different Companies. 93% of Students of the 12% (who got internship) got their internship at Byjus.
Infrastructure: Here college students have access to TV room, aqua guard for hot, cold and normal drinking water and other leisure/sports activities. Also includes the following facilities: 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity provided in my college. 24x7 electricity and water supply in all the hostels. Unfortunately, there were no hostel facilities available in our college.
Faculty: Well, in our college there 89% of teachers were friendly, knowledgeable & qualified too. But the rest of them were not too bad. Some Professional values/ lesson taught by this college which are good for make students industry ready.

Hood collates good placements.
Placements: Only 50% of the students were there in my course. The highest package was 35,000, and the minimum was 20,000. No companies, mainly schools. Seventy-two percent of students got internships. The top roles in my course include being a professor, teaching in classes, or being a teacher.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were really large, with proper ventilation and fans working properly. The benches were also in good condition, not broken or so. The canteen food was quite good; it was delicious. When you gorge on your food, the students should consider it.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and helped us understand the topic later if we asked some questions. The student graduates have been given good training to pursue the job they wanted to do. The semester is moderate, not so tough, not so easily. Last-minute revision is enough to pass.
Other: The events at the festival are quite good.

College management is very helpful if you know how to approach them.
Placements: As I stated earlier this a college for general courses there were no on campus placements. But some of your batch mates for job during the course in TCS. TCS arrange a exam for Hons students. They participated and successfully cracked the exam and got a job. All the students of B.Sc. or B.A. scored more than 75% marks in HS, are getting SVMCM scholarship, also the Masters students are getting a huge amount yearly, other than this meritorious students are getting inspire scholarship.
Infrastructure: As our college have all the general courses, no technical courses there is no on campus placements. But yes once you have successfully completed your course you will get lots of opportunity according to your merit and Talent. Most of the students opt for a Master degree course after graduation and some start preparing for jobs. In college campus good Wi-Fi and food available. Which help us a lot. Hostels are so clean but medical facility is not so good.
Faculty: As this is a government college you don't need to think about the faculty. You will get the best teachers guiding you throughout your course. In our department aka Physics Hons, there were atleast 10 faculty for 60 students. Huge classrooms with 5-6 practical labs.
Other: Gender ration is almost equal. There were no discrimination about that. Other are a badminton court, volleyball court in the backyard. Also there are a common room for all the students, Our favourite place in the college. We use to spend all the spare time there. There are carrom, table tennis etc. Board games. Our college participate in a annual inter state badminton championship. That we won in our first year. I was a part of that team along with two others player. We also participate in a inter district badminton championship also. We won in that too. Politics is very specific in our college. They held a vote to nominate a committee for a union. Currently TMCP is in the power of that union. SFI, ABVP also there to fight in that vote.

Pros and cons of the Government College Barasat.
Placements: The students who have passed out from this college are getting jobs through their own skills; there is no placement session conducted by the college. If you want to have an internship or any other opportunity, you have to arrange it on your own, and that is the worst part of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good, including the library, lab, and classrooms. However, there is no hostel facility provided by the college. Many students who come from other districts have to rent their own rooms. I think that is a very big problem.
Faculty: In this college, the professors are very good; they are very professional in their teaching careers. Other curricular activities that happen in this college are very good, such as social work and many other things. The exam pattern and the management system of this college are very good, in my opinion.
Other: I chose English Honours because it is a very professional course. The best thing about it is that we learn about the language deeply. The event campus crowd is okay. The scholarships you can get are the Nabanna Scholarship, which is worth 10,000, and the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, which is worth 12,000.
