Here I have tried to give my reviews on all the three. Read till end and then decide on which one to go for. BIBS (Bengal Institute of Business Studies) which has GOT a truly industry-centric programme and their placement standard is really at the top. Their course fees are also not that high (average, to be precise). But their offerings are really good. (Ranked 2nd after IIM) with 100% placement records in last 5 years. The highest Salary 13.15 lacs & Avg Salary 4.5 lacs p. a. More than 10% of the MBA Batch has GOT International Placements. It is the only Business School in West Bengal with an A* rating from Crisil. BIBS not just focuses on making students work on their toes but also to learn through practical experiences and get exposure to real life happenings in business and the industry, resulting in the growth of students, making them confident, knowledgeable and competitive. Unitedworld School of Business is currently one of the best institutes for pursuing MBA/PGDM. It has a huge campus in Ahmedabad (and Kolkata) and the faculty members are very much helpful and encouraging. The hostel life is great and has all the amenities available inside the campus. Students are encouraged to participate in different Festivals, sports competitions and extra-curricular activities and are taken for Industrial visits regularly. IEM Kolkata is better. IEM holds a strong position among other private colleges in terms of placement. According to a recent study, it has provided 100% placement to its students for the past seven years. N our batch, everyone got placed within 5 days. 80% of the batch had multiple offers. Some of the very famous companies that are known to regularly recruit IEM graduates are: Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Wipro Technologies, PWC, NRI FENTCH, ERRICSION, SANKALAP, Infosys, Capgemini. In top colleges like IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, etc. , teachers are very knowledgeable. Here also, teachers are also from IIT, NIT and other good colleges. Teachers are quite helpful and some of them are IES officers, assistant scientists and some came after working in PSUs. They always motivate students to do some innovative things and do the innovative project. They always try to teach students new things so that they can learn new things. They guide students to do research paper like IEEE. Hostel facilities are good enough, it provides good food, study environment, Wi-Fi 24 hrs facility and a well-disciplined life as well, the students are not permitted to get out of the hostel after 8 pm and they should live a proper life there if they want. Proper security is available. Rooms are very spacious shared by 4 students. Food quality is good and healthy. Food is available as purely veg for vegetarians and purely no-veg for non-vegetarians.
