CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) calculation at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Lavale is typically based on a credit-based grading system. Here's a simplified explanation of how CGPA is calculated:Grading System: The college uses a grading scale that assigns grades to individual courses, ranging from A+ to F. Each grade is associated with specific grade points.Credit System: Each course is assigned a certain number of credits, representing its weightage or importance. Courses with higher credits require more time and effort.Grade Points: The grade obtained in each course is converted into grade points based on the grading scale. The grade points correspond to the student's performance in that course.Credit Weightage: The grade points are multiplied by the number of credits for each course to calculate the weighted grade points.CGPA Calculation: The CGPA is determined by dividing the sum of the weighted grade points earned in all courses by the total number of credits taken. This provides an average grade point, indicating the student's overall academic performance. It's essential to note that the exact grading scale, credit system, and calculation method may vary at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Lavale.
