The minimum requirement for admission of candidates into Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research for UG/PG course must meet the following requirements. For UG courses, pass in 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks is mandatory for admission at Vidya Bharati. For PG courses like MBA/PGDM the candidates should have passed their bachelor's degree with 50% of the marks. Candidates must also take CET, CAT, MAT or CMAT and other entrance tests. Admission into the institute is based on the candidate's entrance exam, the previous academic achievement and work experience. The major admission process takes place in May-June every year, and the institute has an aggregate PG admission intake of 180.

The admission process of admissions in Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research is based on the students' performance in the entrance examination, class XII marks and personal Interview. This institute considers the scores of the different Management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA and XAT. The eligibility criteria, along with the details of how to apply are provided on the institute's website which requires the candidates to fill online entrance test scores, marks sheets etc. Those that make it to the final list are invited for an interview for which a panel of interviewing officers is used. The final decision is 40% based on entrance exam result, 30% based on academic credentials and 30% based on personal interviews.

Specifically, the fees are: Triple sharing is available at INR 90,000, double sharing costs INR 1,05,000 and single sharing costs INR 1,20,000.

The placement cell is under the supervision of an experienced placement officer and consists of 5 employees. The cell cooperates with more than 300 companies such as Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Federal Bank. The training initiation taken by the placement cell is made of practices such as interviews, group discussions, and resume writing for the selection process. This means that the institute boasts of excellent placement statistics; every year more than 90% batch get placed with an average salary of 5.5 Lacs per annum.

Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research gives 100% scholarship to very few select students based on merit. This scholarship is offered to those students who have performed very well in their entrance test like CAT, MAT or CMAT. In detail, only students who have received 99 percentile or above scores in these exams will only be required to pay half tuition fee to any university of their choice. However, all students who has scored 95 percentile or above shall be awarded 50% of tuition fee discount from the accredited university. Scholarship is given out in a range of up to 5% of the total admission cohort.

The institute paying the fees in the form of merit scholarships to those get experimental marks in their entrance examinations or their performances in the class. For the students coming to the University the scholarship amount varies between INR 10,000 to INR 50,000 per annum. Further, the institute also provide some scholarships to the economically poor students and the actual intake is of 10% seat for such students.
