For PhD programme, candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in entrance test and performance in interview round conducted by the University. The entrance test is a theory paper based on postgraduate level syllabus with a weightage of 80 per cent. The remaining weightage of 20 per cent is given to the candidate’s score in interview.Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST category candidates) OR Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts or Institute of Cost and Works Accountants or qualified as company secretary.Selection Criteria: Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/ UGC3 CSIR NET/ GATE/ Teacher fellowship exam or MPhil exam are exempted from the entrance test, they only need to appear for interview round.
