Hello, Bhaskaracharya college of applied sciences is funded by the government of Delhi and is affiliated to Delhi University. As the name suggest this college was named after the very famous Indian mathematician Bhaskaracharya who lived in the 12th century. The college has a specious10 acre campus in sector 2 of Dwarka, Delhi. About placements, one must understand that in the Indian environment, recruiters invariably turn up only in colleges which offer graduation in engineering or in related subjects. There are hardly any recruiters who visit colleges offering pure science or applied science as fields of study. In such scenario it's quite good to know that Bhaskracharya college does get recruiters during the placement season and it is able to place it's students in different companies. The median package obtained by its students of about rupees 3 lakhs per annum can be considered quite good.Best wishes to you.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS) is one of the best colleges in Delhi, but whether it is the best or not is subject to different parameters. NIRF 2022 placed this College in 14th rank in the country and 2nd in Delhi, because it is dominated by programs in science and technology. A 95 percent placement record is maintained in which MK, TCS and Accenture among others are prominent recruiters. The college is well equipped for the learning experience with a low student to teacher ratio of 15:1 and qualified teaching staff. Though, it is possible that a few other colleges like, St. Stephen’s, Hindu, Hansraj etc. are better in some particular domains like arts, commerce, research, etc.
