{Source: B.A. students & alumni}Is B.A. at Bir Bikram Memorial College (BBMC) a good choice? After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:* Teaching Quality: Teachers are generally considered helpful, knowledgeable, and providing good notes.* Course Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, covering topics with depth and breadth.* Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, BBMC is a government college without placement facilities, focusing solely on imparting education.* Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, with some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. However, there are comfortable classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities available.* Student Life: Extracurricular activities, events, and festivals take place in the college. While hostel facilities are lacking, rented rooms are available near the campus.* Overall Experience: Alumni mention making valuable connections and memories during their time at BBMC, with some even securing jobs and further education due to the college's strong reputation. In conclusion, while BBMC may not excel in terms of placement opportunities or cutting-edge infrastructure, it offers a supportive learning environment, dedicated teaching staff, and a relevant course curriculum. For those seeking a solid foundation in arts and humanities, BBMC might be a suitable choice.Recommendation: If you're considering applying to BBMC for your B.A., weigh the pros and cons carefully. Focus on developing your skills and interests outside of academics to maximize your potential. Keep in mind that job prospects may require additional efforts beyond what the college can offer.
