Both the colleges are good at their end. If we talk of placement both college have good placement with the average package being 6.5 - 7 lpa.
Bimtech is Ranked 15th among 'Top B-schools in India' by National HRD Network (NHRDN) and People Matters B-school Ranking, 2015 while IMT is Ranked A1 among 'Top 20 B-schools' by Business Standard in 2015.
Campus life is great here at bimtech just the problem is that boys have to live outside the campus in hostel . Incampus hostel is only for girls. Bimtech believes in overall development of individual and we organize different kind of activities which help in growth of individual.

Due to many more companies investing in retail business scope for people getting a job their is increasing. Average ctc being around 6.5-7 lpa. Placement is good around 80% of batch is already placed. Companies like aditya birla retail , pantaloons , simon etc come for recruitment in retail. They offer PGDM - RM and PGDM - IBM from cmat score.

20% of weightage is given to cat score. placement has been really good this year around 80% batch has been already placed and still many companies are yet to come, you can refer the link below to know more about placements

PGDM-RM from BIMTECH is a good option , It would provide you with good practical exposure as there are some compulsory internships which every student has to undergo. Average CTC is around 6-7 lakhs and there are many companies which come for campus placements like ADITYA BIRLA RETAIL , RELIANCE RETAIL, DECATHLON etc. BIMTECH has near about 95-97% placement for RM students.
