Best academics as well as fest culture with good placements.
Placements: This year the highest package for CSE was 62 LPA, with an average around 30 LPA. Also, companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs recruit every year. Mercedes recruits every year. But for core branches, the ROI (return on investment) is not that great.
Infrastructure: We have washing machines. Clean bathrooms with hot water facilities 24x7, with proper purified drinking water. The mess provides very good quality food. The draw back being you have to follow same mess time table (weekly) for a month or two but overall experience being awesome.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers are there. Relatively tougher academics but the teachers do make efforts in the lectures to show all the demonstrations. Maybe the first-year courses offered are not so relevant but the further courses offered are relevant. Also having a good academic culture.
Other: Engineering in bits pilani should be one of the best experience anyone can have as a student; it offers you. A very strong academic background, confidence, overall exposure and lots of fun festivals as well.

I don't like the physics and math department teachers.
Placements: This year, dual-degree students are being placed faster than single-degree students. Almost all students are placed. The average salary package offered is 26 LPA to 28 LPA for an M.Sc. economics student. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Amazon, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: They provide 8 GB of data, which is the limit per student and will be sufficient most of the time. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The mess food is good, but you have the option of eating at food stalls if you want. There are four food stalls combined, so you will get all you want. Dominos and KFC are near the college so you can expect delivery within 15 to 20 minutes.
Faculty: Our teachers are very approachable, especially in the biology department. If you go to them with your problems, even if they are not subject-related, they will help you. The curriculum is very good. It appears that continuous evaluation is done so that you will not feel too much pressure at the end.

Review of BITS Pilani - Goa Campus.
Placements: About 95% of the students were placed during the current placement session. The highest salary package offered here was 70 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiters for our college were Amazon, Tata Motors, Thermax, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our institute are one of the best facilities. All the labs are well-equipped with the latest techniques, and the library is highly quipped with new books. Wi-Fi is available in all locations inside the campus. The quality of the food served is of high standards and diversified.
Faculty: Professors of BITS Goa are well known for their deep understanding of their particular fields. They are very helpful and are ready to clear your doubts at any time. The course curriculum is updated every year as per industry requirements. To make students ready for the industry, many programs are included in the curriculum like PS1 and PS2.
Other: Machines and their components are always generated curiosity in me, so I chose mechanical engineering. The best things about this course include in-depth knowledge of every mechanical component available around us. Our college majorly organises 3 main events, i.e., Waves, Quark and Spree. The campus crowd is high and has a footfall of 1 lac people. The campus is extraordinarily beautiful, with many different kinds of flowers and trees. Merit cum need scholarships are provided for needy students. There are 20 different clubs and departments.

You will have a college life worth remembering.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our mechanical branch got placed. Remaining students opted for higher studies, either M.Tech or MBA. Top recruiting companies for our course are John Deere, Reliance, Tata and many more. The highest salary package offered in a mechanical course was around 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 6-7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are one of a kind and the best you can find in any private college. Wi-Fi facility is available 24x7, but it has a limit of 3 GB data per day. Classrooms are huge and spacious. The food served in the mess is very good and healthy. The menu changes every month, and there is a special dinner every Sunday.
Faculty: All the teachers here are highly qualified and very much knowledgeable. They have done their post-graduation either from IITs or BITS or a profound university abroad. The course curriculum is the best and surely makes you industry-ready. They start training you from the beginning of the course only.
Other: I had an interest in mechanical engineering, so I opted for it. During this lockdown because of COVID-19 pandemic, we are burdened by a lot of assignments, quiz, projects, etc. Fests organised in BITS Goa are one of a kind. Students of all the colleges know about our fests, and they surely visit here to watch our fests. People from France, Italy and UK also visit to watch our fests.

I am satisfied with the facilities, infrastructure and the opportunities provided to me.
Placements: Roughly more than 95% of the students who register for placements get placed, and it was the same for the 2019 passing batch. The highest salary package offered to the student was around 44 LPA by Microsoft, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Microsoft, Google, Uber, Oyo, Adobe, Thermax, Daikin, Nvidia and Texas Instruments, to name a few. Top roles offered to the students include software development engineer or SDE, which offers the highest salary. In the mechanical branch, the average salary package offered was around 7 LPA, and the median salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. Students get placed in different sectors involving core, IT, finance and consultancy. Every student on the campus has the opportunity to get the internship after their 2nd year. Many companies visit the campus to recruit students as an intern for the summer internship with a respectable stipend. After that, students have the choice to go for their 6-month internship, which is offered by the college. Around 270 companies visited our college for placements. It is called the PS or the Practice School-2. The stipend for the PS-2 starts from Rs. 4,000 per month and goes up to 1 lac per month. If a person chooses not to opt for PS, then they can do an on-campus thesis. Students have the opportunity to graduate early, and they can finish their courses in 6 semesters and do their Thesis or PS in the next semester. Hence students can complete their degree in 7 semesters and can save money for 1 semester.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is as one would expect from a top university college in the country. Ther are air-conditioned labs with advanced high spec computers, and most of them are having 16 Gb Ram and a license to major software are available. The library is well-furnished with the availability of almost every book. Classrooms are decent with a centralised air-conditioning system. Overall, the campus is lush green, and it looks very good. Mess food is average and nothing great but still much better than other colleges. It is pretty affordable, like Rs. 112 per day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is wholesome with unlimited milk, eggs or omelette, cornflakes, butter, jam and one Indian dish. Non-vegetarian food is served for dinner 3 times a week with a special dinner and lunch each month. Students have the choice to choose from 3 different messes which are operated by three different caterers. Students are allocated 5 Gb of data through Wi-Fi or LAN for their consumption, and it increases to 7 Gb during exam time. Data speed is decent. Currently, it is 20 Mbps, but there is a restriction to certain websites that display explicit content.
Faculty: Faculty members of the mechanical department are highly-educated, and almost all of them are having their PhDs from IITs and comparable institutes. Professors have international recognition. Labs are conducted to give exposure to the students to the latest software, which is a stand out aspect. Apart from this, students can do various study, laboratory or design projects under the faculty members they wish to do with. As told by the HOD of the mechanical department, on average, 200 applications come from which they can only select 1 or 2 in order to keep the same level of faculty.
Other: The crowd of the campus is stand out, people having basic ethics and class. Scholarships are provided in the name of MCN to the students whose parents earn less than a certain amount in a year, and the college decides this. Apart from MCN, there is also a merit scholarship which is offered to the students based on their academic performance.
