Both PES University (PESU) and BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) are reputed colleges in Bangalore for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). It is difficult to say which one is definitively better as it depends on individual preferences and priorities.According to a Reddit post, some users prefer BMSCE CSE because it is more relaxed and has a more balanced approach to studies and extracurricular activities. However, some users suggest that PESU has better placement records with higher median packages being offered. Ultimately, the decision depends on what you value most in a college education. It might be helpful to research both colleges, their curriculum, placement records, campus life, and other factors before making a decision. I hope this helps!

Admission to the UG/PG courses in the college is entrance-based. The scores of national or state-level exams such as GATE, KCET, CMAT, and Karnataka PGCET are accepted for selection. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility are further shortlisted based on their scores in the course-specific entrance examination. It mainly includes two parts, first to fill out the application form on the college's official website and second, to send the attached copies of documents and application fee with the downloaded application form to the BMSCE address.

BMS College of Engineering follows an admission process that requires all candidates to take an entrance test. However, there is an exception for direct admission through the management quota. Unofficial sources suggest that approximately 20% of the seats at BMSCE are reserved for candidates applying through the management quota in the Engineering courses. This means that individuals without a valid rank in the entrance test can still secure admission by opting for the management quota. It is important for aspiring students to consider this option if they do not meet the eligibility criteria based on their entrance test rank.
