Bangalore’s Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus is worth considering for pursuing B.Tech courses as they offer autonomous programmes with NBA accreditation. The airport boasts industrial alliances with IBM, Intel and Oracle and 7060% record of placements, so it’s not badly the deal. It has modern infrastructure along with cheap rates (roughly 2.5 lakhs/year). Still, the college is rated tier 2/3 and does not offer sufficient research and global collaboration opportunities. It is also ranked by NIRF in 201-250 Range, A++ by KSURF and A by NAAC making the college more suitable for students who wish to pursue an education aimed at the industry and with high chances of getting a placement.

The Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus Bangalore is popularly perceived as a second tier engineering economy. Though it is a good institution with an autonomous status, NBA accreditation and fairly good placement records, there isn’t anything Tier 1 about it – due to factors such as few research engagements, fewer partnerships with global corps for many institutions ranking low.Colleges rated Tier 2 generally have facilities such as:- Easy access to employment with good contacts- Fairly good records of placing students.- Low tuition charges- Effective learningOn the contrary:- There is no great emphasis on research- There is no global recognition- There are no advanced facilitiesAlso, keep in mind that different sources, as well as different criteria, can dramatically change the tier classification.
