B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2017

Our batch is 2013-2017, and we had good educational and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 30% of the students of our batch got placements, and 35% of my seniors got placements. Mostly our batch students got an offer from IT-companies. Rarely, a few students got placed in core companies. The lowest salary offered by the companies was Rs. 8,500 per month and the highest offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies like Hinduja Global Solutions, Convalt Energy Limited, HCL Chennai, Wipro Bangalore, Adecco Bangalore, Adecco Chennai, Infosys Chennai, Uniq Technologies, Infochola Solutions Pvt Ltd, etc., visited the campus and offered the roles of trainee engineers, etc. There are no internship activities in the college. There is a placement cell, and it is very useful for developing our language, self-motivation, and improving our attitude towards attending an interview. It used for raising our self-confidence at the beginning, and it's very useful for us.
Infrastructure: The campus of our college is green. We have supportive activities alongside academic activities, and this is a nice initiative taken by the management. All the labs are well-equipped technically. We had a supportive medical team in our college with enough first-aid medicines. We had good sports grounds and pitches, and we had a lot of chances to have matches with our coach. Food and snacks in the college are pretty good and are always available. Hostel rooms are good and had a nice gym. I haven't faced any issues in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced to handle our students. They have good knowledge of education and other activities, so it is very helpful for the students. They care for every student. Quality of teaching is very good. They share all their experiences with the students. Their teaching strategy is by using technical seminars, so the interest of studies was increased. We had six students per semester, and for one subject, one faculty is alotted. Our department offers plenty of job opportunities for our career, and it's useful for us to make our bright future. We gain good practical knowledge so that we can improve our technical skills. Now, I'm working as a trainee electrical engineer in a private company. I thank the college and staff members.
Other: Every year, we celebrate college day in our campus with a great guest, and it is a very enjoyable day for us. It is a very good moment to share. Our college management organises cultural programs to improve our extracurricular activities. There is a social awareness program about saving the forest, saving water, saving electricity, etc., by the department and management interests. We get all the segments of scholarships with the help of our management. We had a chance to participate in competitions like singing and dancing with other colleges.

Other: The main aspect of our college is that it is very Eco friendly and teaching is excellent and the consequences are that canteen is bad and the main advantage is the whole campus is filled with gardens. The campus is also very Eco friendly in all terms. The campus is the best college life while studying and compared to our college this is different. College life is not enjoyable at all and studying is important part in our college. Campus interviews is another major part in our college.
