Admission is determined by performance in either the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or the IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test). The M.Tech programs last two to three years and include 13 different courses. Tuition prices range from INR 78,000–INR 2.4 lakhs. The centre has 273 seats available throughout its numerous M.Tech degrees.

CDAC offers a 3 years Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course at the PG level. To be eligible for CDAC Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme Candidate must have completed BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/B.Sc. ( Technology)/ B.Voc. (Software Engg.) or equivalent. Or candidate must have completed at least 3 years Bachelors Degree with mathematics/statistics at 10+2 level or graduation level. Candidate must have passed with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examinations.
