NITs are much better than the CFTI and self-funded Institutes. NITs provide better faculty resource than the centrally funded institutes. CFTI are better than the Engineering colleges which are located in every corner of our town. Self- funded

EWS category is newly introduced so we don't have any previous data to compare, but since it belongs to General category reservation I think you must be eligible for CFTI, GFTI in your state.
