CIPET the institute of plastics.
Placements: The placements in CIPET are quite good and last year there were too many companies like Reliance, Rather, UBE, and so on with a maximum package of 9.6 LPA. The placement coordinator is humble, and all students have been placed as the institute has given 100% placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel has 8 floors, lifts are available and there is a warden, assistant warden and a caretaker who will take care of students and their health. The hostel has a good floor the room looks pretty decent and affordable.
Faculty: The teachers at CIPET Chennai are very humble and clear all the doubts that the students have. Mostly all the staff are graduated and are PhD holders and the only disadvantage is they are not available all time as they have too much work because the number of staff is less.

I am satisfied with its placements, facilities, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: Around 95% of students are placed in this course. The average salary offered ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 50,000 depending upon the company and work offered. The top recruiting companies are Reliance, L&T, Valeo, Motherson, Dow Chemicals, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, classroom, library, and laboratories. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. They provide healthy snacks. It provides a small playground to play certain games. The medical facility is also available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and students gain industry knowledge. The pass percentage is 50%. The syllabus of our course is not much difficult when compared to other branches.
Other: Plastics are unavoidable in this current world, and they are unique to study so, I opted for this course. Our college conducts events, club activities, sports, games, etc.

Empowering Careers in Plastic Technology .
Placements: CIPET-IPT Chennai is the best college for placements, with 100% placement every year. The monthly packages range from INR 35,000 to INR 80,000. Most students join CIPET for its excellent placement opportunities and its status as a premium Central Government College.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CIPET Chennai is decent compared to other government colleges. However, the canteen facilities are poor, and while the hostel buildings look good from the outside, their interiors need improvement. The food quality is acceptable. There is no Wi-Fi, the classrooms are non-air-conditioned, and the college lacks sports grounds.
Faculty: The teaching quality is not consistent, as some teachers attend classes irregularly. However, during lab sessions, they provide good guidance. Each subject has one teacher, but they do not provide notes. Internal marks are given based on student activity in class, but partiality is sometimes observed. Despite these issues, the curriculum offers excellent practical knowledge and applications. Exams are conducted by Anna University, and the questions and evaluations are straightforward and liberal.
Other: I secured admission to CIPET-IPT Chennai through Tamil Nadu Engineering Counseling. Although I also applied to the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) for Rubber and Plastic Technology, I chose CIPET because it is a premier institute in plastic technology. CIPET provides superior lab and mechanical facilities and focuses on practical education, making it the best college in India for Plastic and Polymer Technology.

CIPET is the best for students and placement also.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in the campus interview. The average package course offered it. Few top companies came and selected a few knowledgeable students, and also many normal companies find out knowledgeable persons and the low internship in our course.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are average. Only a few books are available in the library. Classrooms are enough for studies. Poor quality of hostel. Many times food is unavailable in the mess. Medical facilities are also poor, and no ground for sports practice. Medical center time is 10-11 o clock.
Faculty: The faculty members are inexperienced, but the teaching quality is good. The exam is difficult in this college, and the percentage is also 50%. The course curriculum relevant is poor. This course is not ready for students in the industry. Only students are ready for it.
Other: This course is good, and I know other students don't know about this course, so I joined it. Students will go industrial visiting. Scholarships are normal.

College with practical experience .
Placements: Most of the students are placed in campus placements. Very few opt for higher education. The minimum average salary package is 3.6 LPA. You will be offered positions such as Junior Associate or Production Assistant Manager, depending on your qualifications. Top recruiters are Reliance, Supreme, United International, and others.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are provided with basic facilities like enough tables, fans, and an LED projector. There are computer labs and separate laboratories for each subject. Hostel food is strictly average, and the facilities are too. However, the charges for food are very high, and it operates on a prepaid system. Sports activities in this college are rare.
Faculty: The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate to hard. You need to study from the beginning of the semester to get good marks. The plastics manufacturing field is a very good curriculum-oriented course and it will help you to explore in depth every product. Teachers are well-qualified to teach you, and interaction with them is also good.
Other: Overall this college is good but they need to improve in co curriculum activities also.
