It's a good college where you can come out with good marks and secure a job offer easily.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Students who have higher percentages in the ECE department are placed at McDermott, Chennai. The highest salary offered is Rs. 31,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 14,000 per month.
Infrastructure: I recommend you rent a private hostel instead of the college hostel. It is very comfortable and hygienic.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. If you are not a good listener in class, you will be unable to score good marks. We used to ask doubts personally for a better understanding. Semester exams are easy. Our teachers help us a lot to score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because the fees are affordable. You can get good education with more job opportunities. Some subjects in this course must be updated in parallel with the latest technologies.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Sandwich) - Batch of 2022
3.2

Good college and best teachers.
Placements: 75 percent of students are provided with placements.
Woodplc, Hyundai and royal Enfield are the top companies.
Only sandwich students got internship in the best companies.
In mechanical engineering, they have to learn R&D and GD&T maintenance as it is useful for them to get placements.
Infrastructure: They have a best infrastructure. Hostel is normal, I have nothing to say about it. Labs are good, sports are better. The library is excellent.
Faculty: The teachers are very learnt.
They have a two industrial training per year.
45 marks is the passing mark for theory and practical, 15 marks is required in internal and 30 marks in external. It is easy to pass the exams.

Placement is very good but hostel food and campus is bad.
Placements: The placement at this college is excellent. If you are interested in placement, you will be placed 100 percent. The minimum package is 15k and the maximum is 40k. They will give importance to practicals, and you will get a paid internship during the 3rd and 4th semesters. After finishing the internship, there is a chance that you can get placed with that company .
Infrastructure: My course is mechanical but now it is not in high demand. It is better to go for a computer-based course, where classes are neat and big mobiles are also allowed inside the campus. Students should wear uniforms; the hostel is the worst and the food is worse than the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to you but some teachers are not. The semester exams are not stuff and they give importance to practical and technical students. The minimum pass mark is 30 out of 75 and internal is 25. Getting a pass is easy; you should score with a higher percentage; it will help you get placed easily .
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in it because it's full of vehicles and after that, I would like to do my bachelor's degree. They need to improve the hostel, food and campus. The very old buildings are not painted and crack on the walls. They give more importance to practical things than to sports and events .

Diploma in Marine Engineering - Batch of 2023

This is a good college for students who are taking a diploma course.
Placements: Above 80% can get placements and no arrears passed out can get placements. It's a government college, so fees for a Diploma in Marine is Rs. 2500. From now on, there is no company for marine department; there are placements for other departments and staff in the college are well experienced.
Infrastructure: In this college, there is no Wi-Fi available. Library is available but not open and it has a lab for selective departments. Hostel facilities are not very good. It is not hygienic, restrooms are available in hostel and the food provided in the hostel is also not good .
Faculty: Teachers in this college are very experienced and they were ready to teach students. The teaching was very good and the semester exams are easy when you studied well. College provides placements for all the students who have passed without any arrears.
Other: Marine teachers are good in this college.

Central Polytechnic College, Chennai is one of the good colleges in Chennai.
Placements: Above 60% in 10th will get the admission in our college. TCL, HCL, TCS, and many automobile companies are here to take placement. My friend got above Rs.20000 per month as a starting package, and this is the highest package in our year. And Rs.12400 per month is the lowest package of our college. Most of the students who cleared got placement without any hesitation.
Infrastructure: Our college is Asia's biggest polytechnic college. And we have separate lab facilities for all most every course taken. And the boy's hostel is a little bit dirty and nasty and unable to enter with your parents. The classroom will be nostalgic and the campus is very natural and looks nice.
Faculty: Each department has a minimum of 3 permanent staff and the remaining staff will be temporary. And the quality of teaching was pretty good and taught by everyone in our mother tongue. The pass percentage is 30% and the above, semester exams are not that difficult because our college is autonomous so all the questions papers are prepared by our teachers and corrected in our college.
Other: I choose this course because my parents forced me, but afterward, I liked the college life and one more thing is I like is our hostel, making myself comfortable in every situation. The college and hostel teach us many things that other colleges don't.

CPT has good and friendly faculty, and the placements are good every year.
Placements: The college provides good campus placements. I got placed in a manufacturing company with a salary of 15,000. Lots of companies come here. My department students got lots of placements in various companies. In EEE, one can get a job very easily.
Infrastructure: The college has a good library with a lot of books that are very useful for students. The classrooms are really clean and safe to study. Wi-Fi is not available for students.
Faculty: The college teachers are good and friendly. They help us reach our goals. Getting high marks in exams is very useful for placements. The pass percentage is 35 for 100 marks. If you get 35 marks, then you will pass the semester.
Other: It's the best and perfect college for students from middle-class families. It's very useful for poor students. So, anyone can join this college.
